Book Review: Battling Injustice- 16 Women Nobel Peace Laureates

You might be complaining about various things in your lives! You might be thinking that your life is difficult! You might be thinking that if you had some facilities, you would have done some wonders! Whenever we hear of Nobel Prize, there is an instant spark in our eyes. The name of the award is enough to fill you with immense respect for the award winner. And when it is for peace, you know that the award has not been earned easily.

This made me pick up this book instantly. I always wanted to know more about some inspiring personalities. I was in need of motivation or something that could drive me further. And found this book at the right time. If you want to know something about the life of a famous personality, you will have to go and search the internet and try to find out the required information hidden between some irrelevant links. In a book everything is organized and this book is perfect.

The 16 Nobel Peace Laureates in this book are a great source of inspiration. Their lives had not been easy. Much more difficult at times than most of the readers of this book! Yet they achieved great because of their passion. Their situations, struggles, and oppositions they faced and the way they beautifully sailed out of it to achieve their goals has been described beautifully. It can motivate anyone instantly. The best part about this book is that you will feel that you are not alone who is facing tough times. There are numerous people in this world who are probably facing more adverse situations than you. If they can survive, then you can also survive. Mother Teresa, Malala Yousafzai, Jody Williams, Aung San Suu Kyi, Jane Addams and others mentioned in this book are not ordinary names. They have transformed numerous lives and a little is known about their lives. Happy to have read this book!

Recommendation- I recommend this book to everyone. No matter what genre you love, this thought provoking book will not disappoint you. Some books are more than a collection of pages with some words on them; they have the power to move you and this is one such book.
