Book Review: Years Later… On Facebook

When it comes to reading, I always enjoy reading short stories. You can finish a story in a few minutes and switch to another one then. Thus while reading short stories; you get to experience a variety of characters and emotions. I picked up this book with much excitement but it did not meet up much of my expectations.

The book comprises of 34 short stories that are based on various topics and genre. If you are short of time, you can always find a few minutes to complete one story. Thus you will be able to complete the book in parts. The title of the book is the title of the first story in the book.

Aarohy Kapoor, Review

The narration of the stories disappointed me. It did not grip me much to the stories. The titles and the concepts were good but the way the sentences were framed did not do justice to the plot. At various instances in different stories, the sentences are too short. They break the flow while reading and one is not able to enjoy the stories too well. The cover of the book is beautiful and takes you down the memory lane. Including sketches in the book at various instances was a good idea to help the readers in imagining the story well. It is connected to the first story of the book. The titles of individual stories are short and sweet.

I recommend this book to those who enjoy reading short stories. If you are looking for a light read, you can go for this book. Not a “wow” book for sure but an “okay” book for sure!
