Book Review: Then The Doorbell Rang

When you are too much into reading, you need a book that calms you down. Such books take you away from the regular stories and give your mind a break. This break and pleasure of reading something different are good in most of the cases. It was good in this case as well. I give it 4 stars out of 5 and here is my review of it.

I was glad to find out that this was a thick book. Because somewhere or the other I believe that someone can write a thick book only if the content is sound. The book revolves around a female protagonist. There are too many twists and turns in the story which has made it interesting. Too many emotions involved and the story proceeded in an unexpected manner which was a treat for me while reading. This story is her struggle with depression and what all happened with a little girl when she could not get too much attention when she was a kid. Read the book to find it out.

Aarohy Kapoor, Review

The cover is simple. Before reading the book, I found the cover boring and even the title. But after reading the story I felt that both of them were apt for the story. The plot is also good and so is the narration. Simple language has been used in the story. Therefore, you will not find any difficulty in reading this book. It was a gripping read overall and I enjoyed reading it. Some errors disappointed me though while reading but the story covered it up.

Pick up this book if you are looking for a different kind of story and are not afraid of reading thick books.
